Elizabeth Wilson
Poet, Speaker, and Activist

Elizabeth Wilson is a tap dance enthusiast, chronic illness advocate, and Rising Voices of Narcolepsy speaker, living with her partner and son in the North Carolina mountains. She won the 2021 Patricia Dobler Poetry Award for her poem “Your Sister Brings Me an Orchard,” and received a 2022 N.C. Arts Council Artist Support Grant to promote her first book of poems, Windowpanes, winner of the 2021 Sappho’s Prize in Poetry. Her poems have appeared in Asheville Poetry Review, Cold Mountain Review, Intima: A Journal of Narrative Medicine, South Dakota Review, and Voices from the Attic, among others.
